For over 20 years, the Therapeutic Activation Program for Seniors (TAPS) has been serving the seniors of the Creston Valley. Currently, some 65 seniors take advantage of the many programs offered. The average age of the group is 86.

Students take part in practice ‘laps’

In the spirit of the new pool, Creston Valley Music Teachers’ Association challenged their students to “go the distance”. In the same way a swimmer puts in hours of practice laps, piano or violin students put in a lot of time practicing their instrument. So the students were challenged to meet a goal of practice laps, based on 15 minutes per lap.
