The Creston Valley Gleaners Society donated $103,050 to local organizations in 2010, made possible by community donations, customers and Gleaners volunteers, who worked over 27,000 hours last year.

Students from Creston Homelinks were recently acknowledged for their entries in the Royal Canadian Legion’s annual Remembrance Day poster contest.

Due to the hard work of Gleaners and Gleaners Too volunteers (28,000 hours in 2010), the support of loyal customers and the generosity of all those that donate the items that are essential to the organization’s success, it became obvious that Gleaners Too was stretching its seams.

The 2011 Creston Valley Science Fair is open to students in kindergarten to age 12.
