The third annual Children’s Festival was part of the Family Day activities at the Creston and District Community Complex on Monday.
Sponsored by the Town of Creston, Regional District of Central Kootenay and Lower Kootenay Band, the festival featured a range of activities and entertainment, including a children’s play area courtesy of Success By Six, an old-fahsioned school session by the Creston Museum, henna tattoos, face painting, balloon animals and more.
The event was previously held at the Lower Kootenay Band complex (2015) and Rotacrest Hall (2014).
