Creston RCMP responded to 57 calls for service from March 5-11, Staff Sgt. Bob Gollan said on March 12.

March 7

•Following a collision involving two vehicles on Lower Wynndel Road, a male driver failed a roadside screening test for blood alcohol content. He was taken to the police station, where he also failed the more accurate Breathalyzer tests and now faces impaired driver charges.

•Police conducted a well-being check at a residence on Lakeview-Arrow Creek Road, where they found a male to be OK.

•A complaint about an aggressive dog on Elm Street was referred to the town bylaw department.

•Police were provided with a licence plate number of a vehicle reported to have passed others on a solid line on Highway 95 and the investigation continues.

•A 911 dialer from Cavell Street said the number must have been called when the cellphone was dropped.

•Police were called to a dispute over property on Highway 3A by an estranged couple.
