College of the Rockies folk guitar classes with Larry Ewashen have resumed for the fall session.
This course is structured to provide basic knowledge of major and minor chords, different strumming techniques, and is based on learning popular folk songs and how accompaniment works. Students must spend time doing their ‘home work’ with practice but much individual assistance is provided throughout the ten weekly sessions.
This session will run until December with a new class scheduled to begin in March 2012. Interested aspirants should be aware that enrolment is limited, so if they are considering joining the next session they should contact the college at 250-428-5332.
