After spending several years as a freelance writer for the Castlegar News, Betsy joined the editorial staff as a reporter in March of 2015. In 2020, she moved into the editor's position. Betsy has lived in Castlegar for 26 years and has appreciated the opportunity to raise her family in such a beautiful city. She is passionate about reporting the local news to her community. Her favourite part of the job is meeting the many wonderful and amazing people that cross her path.
