If you’re Canadian, chances are you’ve had an encounter with one of these majestic creatures. The Canada Goose (affectionately nicknamed the hissing cobra chicken by some) are some of the largest geese in the world, weighing up to 20 pounds. They are known to be aggressive, especially during nesting season. These hefty birds can be a fearsome sight when they stretch out their necks to loudly honk and hiss at whoever dares to come near.
