The Prince Charles Secondary School senior and junior girls soccer teams hosted a home tournament April 20 and 21.
The junior girls fielded two teams. The gold team lost 1-0 to Rossland and 1-0 in a shootout to Grand Forks, and then defeated Golden 4-0 in the playoffs. The blue team defeated Golden 5-0, lost 3-1 to Nakusp and beat Grand Forks 2-1 in a playoff shootout.
The seniors girls lost 2-0 to Kimberley and 4-0 to Nakusp, but defeated Kaslo 2-1 in a playoff shootout.
Soccer is coached by Todd Hawton, Maura Schadeli, Allison Kepke, Adam Delman, Aaron Gregory and Jackson Hawton.
