The Prince Charles Secondary School bantam boys basketball team.

The Prince Charles Secondary School bantam boys basketball team won its first tournament on Feb. 10/11 in Jaffray. The boys defeated Selkirk 26- 20, Sparwood 43-14 and Jaffray 39-35. The team is coached by Jeff Banman and Brett Andrusk, who were assisted by Doug Dortman.

On Feb. 9, the senior boys basketball team played in Salmo. The boys defeated Salmo 75-50 and lost 90-80 to Mt. Sentinel. The team is coached by Doug Dortman and Andrew Stolz.

On Feb. 10/11, the seniors girls played in the Kootenay Classic hosted by L.V. Rogers and Mt. Sentinel secondary schools. The team finished third out of eight, defeating Golden 52-45, losing 70-35 to L.V. Rogers and defeating Mt. Sentinel 66-31. Sharen Popoff coaches the team.

Final action for the senior teams is at the zone championships at the end of February.
