The Prince Charles Secondary School senior boys beat Sparwood Secondary School 78-63 on the weekend

In senior basketball action, the Prince Charles Secondary School boys and girls teams hosted an eight-team tournament on Friday and Saturday.

The senior boys beat Sparwood Secondary School 78-63, with high scorers Parker Morris and Bishop Wild. Robbie Dumas was high scorer in the game the boys lost 78-23 to Nelson’s L.V. Rogers Secondary School. The boys also lost 71-61 to Selkirk Secondary School from Kimberly; Morris and Reegan Czar were high scorers.

The senior girls team defeated Mt. Sentinel Secondary (South Slocan) 48-43, and lost to Sparwood 51-41 and Rossland Secondary School 61-40. High scorers were Cheyanne Kehler, Katrina Tarrant and Sierra Harland.
