For the first time since 2000, the Creston Valley Minor Hockey Association’s Atom C Bruins closed out a successful hockey season on March 2 by winning the East Kootenay Minor Hockey Association’s championships.
The Bruins won every game in the event, facing off against Kimberley in the final. Although both teams dug in hard, Creston edged Kimberley 5-4.
