The Creston Wave Swim Club will be hosting a meet at the Creston and District Community Complex from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on June 25 and 26.
More than 200 swimmers from the Kootenays will be participating, and the public is welcome to come and cheer them on.
“We’re really looking forward to showing off the new pool to our visitors,” said Creston Wave secretary Carrie Armstrong.
The club extends its appreciation to the local business community for supplying items for a silent auction, which will run on Saturday.
