The British Columbia Masters Curling Association Zone 2 Mixed Competition was held in Creston on Jan. 30, when the Creston foursome of (from left) skip Vern Ronmark, third Jeannie Longhurst, second Ross Gowan and lead Bev Boborosky defeated the John Knight team from Cranbrook in a best two of three playoff.

The team won the right to move on to the BC Interior championships, which will be held in Cranbrook from March 6-9. Teams from North and South Okanagan, the West Kootenay and a host team from Cranbrook will join the Creston team in the Interior championship.

Ronmark and Gowan competed in the men's masters championships on the weekend.
