Forty-eight teams — with 21 from out of town, as far away as Rocky Mountain House, Alta. — took part in the 70th annual Butterfly Bonspiel, which ran at the Creston Curling Centre on the weekend.

A Creston team won the A event, after placing second last year, and Brad Christenson presented the Interior Brewery Workers Local 308 trophy to skip Chris Ducharme, third Jim Macaulay, second Jim Stewart and lead Jim Kriese.
