The Creston FC placed first in the soccer tournament it hosted on the weekend, beating Rossland United in the final. Dean Torgrimson scored the game-winning goal, heading the ball into Rossland’s net after a pass by Eric Blow.
A team from Cranbrook placed third after beating the team from Crawford Bay.
“It’s been really good to have successs this year,” said organizer and player Renn Cook.
