The Judo BC-sanctioned tournament saw competitors from as far away as Raymond and Lethbridge, Alta., as well as Fernie, Salmo, Castlegar and the host club, Invermere, compete in the all-day event. The tournament included an exhibition match for competitors aged 10 and under in addition to the regular judo matches.

Receiving gold medals at the tournament were Brae Booth, Calvin Quinton, Dustin Blackmore, Kaeden Rendek, Cheyann Albert, Kim Francoeur, Leelan Samuelson, and Donavan Hack. Silver Medals were awarded to Kaydon Booth, Dillion Hack (in two divisions) and Peter Juurlink. Bronze Medals were awarded to Kyle Qualtieri, Rielle Francoeur, Joseph Albert and Gage Traplin.

The club would like to sincerely thank senseis Ben Reinhardt and Munroe Albert for preparing the young judokas for the tournament, as well as all the parents and siblings who helped out in every way they could to make this a successful event.
