The Prince Charles Secondary School boys soccer teams opened their season with home play in their annual Brawl in the Fall tournament on Sept. 20 and 21.

The junior boys, coached by Bill Ferguson, tied Selkirk Secondary School (Kimberley) 1-1, defeated Golden Secondary School 3-1, tied Nakusp Secondary School 1-1 and defeated Rossland Secondary School 5-2. Outstanding players were Ethan Plotnikoff, Ben Collison and Hans Nicolajsen.

The senior boys, coached by Todd Hawton, tied Mount Baker Secondary School (Cranbrook) 0-0, defeated Stanley Humphries Secondary School (Castlegar) 3-0, defeated Nakusp 3-1 and defeated J.L. Crowe Secondary School (Trail) 4-1. Outstanding players were Riley Hills and Greg Benty.
