The Creston Valley Garden Club hosted its garden tours on June 11, with seven private gardens and Spectrum Farms included in the event, which runs every second year.
Nora and Mike Zeman's yard overlooks the Creston Valley flats, and the owners — most recently from Fort St. John — appreciate Creston's lengthy growing season, which allows them to cultivate a wide range of vegetable, berries and grapes.
Gardens on this year's tour included those of Harvey Reese, Nora and Mike Zeman, Cecil and Patrick Eddy, Spectrum Farms, Yvonne and Dereck Larsen, Alta and Ken Fedak, Wendy and Randy Ross, andLarry and Jenifer Wolf.
