The Creston Valley Garden Club hosted its garden tours on June 11, with seven private gardens and Spectrum Farms included in the event, which runs every second year.
The tour started with the garden of Harvey Reese, who has a view of the iconic grain elevators in his backyard, which has a large vegetable garden, fruit trees and a water feature. The pond is fed by a foundation that trickles down rocks, as well as along a duct to spin a wheel.
Gardens on this year's tour included those of Harvey Reese, Nora and Mike Zeman, Cecil and Patrick Eddy, Spectrum Farms, Yvonne and Dereck Larsen, Alta and Ken Fedak, Wendy and Randy Ross, and Larry and Jenifer Wolf.
