Marion and Ross Evans welcomed visitors to their West Creston garden during Saturday's Creston Valley Garden Club tours.
"This casual garden features spectacular flower beds, roses and views of the entire north and east sides of the valley," said the tour brochure. "With only a steep hillside to garden, the Evans made much of their planting soil from newspaper walls, straw and leaves. This garden shows how to create a beautiful oasis on a rock bluff."
