To the Editor:
While staying in Creston recently at the Creston Valley Motel, I broke my eyeglasses. At 5:50 p.m., I was panicked and called the Creston Optometric Eye Centre for help. Although they were closing at 6, they offered to stay late and repair my glasses. I can’t thank them enough — my glasses were fixed and I was able to drive to our next destination the next morning.
The motel was terrific, old but clean. We had a wonderful meal. We will return to Creston again — your town’s hospitality was amazing. Thank you.
