Tory gov’t would reduce abortions in Canada

To the Editor:

Henry Dahle (“Time to act and vote”, April 14 Advance, page 7) was alarmed when reading in the Globe and Mail about fear of Harper. The Globe and Mail and most papers and TV stations around the world are owned by a rich group that wants to control the world. You should have noticed that Michael Ignatieff gets as much coverage (and usually good) as the three parties together. Some of this group are into Wicca and Satanism, and hates Christians, so when they are pushing Ignatieff, we should be worried. In Europe, they were surmised that Harper did not get a majority in the last election, as Canadians are envied as they almost skipped the global freefall of the economy.

But some countries wonder how Canada is the only country in the world that allows partial birth abortion of babies. The Bloc Québécois and the NDP leaders take pride in being completely in favour of all abortion. With a Conservative majority, we have a chance to cut abortion back to seven or eight weeks gestation and save 40,000 every year from suffering the pain in the killing process. If you are a Christian, you have to vote for the party that honours life most.

The NDP takes pride in Tommy Douglas. I voted for him. But now you NDPers are hypocrites. You know that if Tommy Douglas heard you are pushing a homosexual agenda and abortion, he would turn in his grave. Absolutely no way would he support it, to be honest. Don’t try to ride his coattails.

Ignatieff complains about the Conservatives’ straightforward ads. But Liberal ads are worse. They take the Conservative cut of $11 billion and tie it into health care, which they know is a lie. The Conservatives fired an advisor, but the Liberal ad is so quick that people may think it was Harper doing the dilly-dallying. Voting day will tell if Ignatieff fooled a lot of people.

Do the Liberals a favour. Let them lose a few seats and send Mr. Ignatieff back to Europe and get a new leader.
