To the Editor:
Orpheus, an all male choir (with a female director) from Vancouver, presented a concert on June 3 at Prince Charles Theatre. They are a remarkably talented group of harmonizers with the only music supplied by one of their own, on piano. What a treat is was to hear them sing for us!
The theatre was well filled by many fortunate community members and Prince Charles Secondary School students. The audience was invited to sing the chorus of Hallelujah, and I must say the participation was great and blended well with the choir. It was an hour very well spent.
Oh, yes — another fantastic freebie! What a town!
