Internet government is the only way

To the Editor:

I always enjoy reading Lorne Eckersley’s columns. “Our Broken Education System” stirred me, though. I had given up on changing our system until I felt that people were ready to join the cause for real change. It was extremely difficult not to notice the sadness in the column, though, as if the writer was truly ready for anything that would give a glimmer of hope for a dying society. Leadership, it seems, has been lost to humanity in a time when it is desperately needed the most. The generation that controls the planet is more concerned about saving their portfolios rather than the water, air, food, education or health systems. Truly, we are at a crossroads in history.

Rebecca Huscroft, a fellow Homelinks parent and School District No. 8 (Kootenay Lake) trustee, and her family are friends of ours. We had a chat about the cuts proposed at a recent school function and I felt for her, as the hatred that the town had shown her was clearly wearing on her. She knows my opinion about the situation as we have stood side by side when the district tried in vain to shut down our beautiful little school. But now she is on the other side of the fence and I guess the grass isn’t so green over there.

Friends, please try to remember who the true enemy of Mother Earth and all of her citizens is: the Illuminati, the Bilderberg group, the Common Purpose, the One Per Cent, the shadow government. And don’t try to give me that crap that “they” don’t exist. If humankind has learned anything in the past four years, it should be the obvious. Pure evil is what they are. Their system is set up to keep us fighting amongst each other, chasing our tails, instead of dealing with them. We’re bogged down in bureaucracy, with funding cuts, dealing with paperwork instead of actual work, and jumping from one government department to the next without ever getting an answer to the simplest problems. Who do you think is responsible for this crappy society we live in? I guess we are, because we have not banded together to cast them into the pit of death, now have we?

Although I do not share Lorne’s opinion about sending our taxes to Victoria to have them doled out by the coastals, I do believe that political change is desperately needed. I promote true democracy: leaderless, decentralized, direct democracy run on the Internet with a nationalized energy policy and banking system — complete and peaceful revolution so that my children won’t have to worry about the air or water, the North American Union or the economy, and no concerns about getting ADHD from breakfast cereal, kidney and liver failure from genetically modified food or breast cancer from milk products.

And if you think the Illuminati will be dictated to by the NDP, think again. Or do you really need to be reminded about the last time the NDP was in control of this province?
