To the Editor:

Feb. 25 was another great night at the Snoring Sasquatch open stage with host Llana Kilpatrick, served as another cultural event in Creston’s month-long BC Spirit Festival.

There was a good audience, good vibes and a lineup of fine players, such as Elena Yeung singing from her second CD in the making, the inimitable Kings of Kitchener and their unique medley combining The Mountain King and Summertime Blues, Llana and Shelli Morris each doing a set, Chris — a young man new to Creston — offering nicely done guitar and vocals, Bob Gollan, of course, always a solid performer, and silver-voice Joy Bartlett and her father, Paul, singing Celtic.

I mention some performances to make a point — the Sasquatch is a valuable performance venue and to the hardworking Sasquatch Arts and Music Society overseeing it, we owe our appreciation.
