To the Editor:
On Saturday afternoon at Millennium Park an awesome concert took place. My particular favourite was the so very talented Peanut Butter and Jam, with their incredible Gaelic harmony and musicality. I must say, Slim Young was excellent, as well, and his songs brought back memories.
The weather, though not hot, was pleasant and allowed the small — shall I say, intimate — gathering of privileged spectators to enjoy a wonderful array of talented performers. I encourage everyone to come to the concert next year and participate in this outstanding event. Creston is endowed with a terrific array of talented people. This year’s “crowd” was lacking in numbers but if each attendee tells two friends, and so on and so on, next year the place will be PB and jam-packed!
