Over one year has passed since Erickson and Canyon had their community celebrations.
A delightful outcome of the Erickson celebration has been a letter from Grace McFarland, who came from Victoria for the celebrations. Her letter told of a former Erickson resident who grew up in an orphanage in Victoria. The orphan’s family was delighted to receive this information and later gathered in Victoria in honour of their father.
The Erickson History Group continues to collect family and business histories, and other Erickson information and stories.
