I volunteer at Gleaners. In the last five years, I have probably come in contact with the majority of this community. You're a great bunch of people.
In the time I have worked there, I can't tell you how many people have stopped and said thank you for what we do for the community. We really appreciate it. However, it's time to set the record straight.
Gleaners doesn't support your community, you do. Creston is unique in that it has the vehicle to help you do this. Every time you donate something to Gleaners, you are supporting your community. Every time you buy something at Gleaners, even if it's only worth a quarter, you are supporting your community. Without you, Gleaners wouldn't be. Without you, all of our wonderful volunteers wouldn't be able to do the volunteer work they love.
So if you know someone who donates to Gleaners, stop and say thank you for supporting our community. If you know someone who shops at Gleaners, stop and say thank you for supporting our community.
If you've never been there, come on down and join the hunt because that's what it is. The hunt for that unique item. The hunt for that one thing you just can't live without. The hunt for a great bargain. Above all, have fun because that's what it's all about. In doing so, you can take pride in knowing that you are supporting your community.
If you stop by Gleaners Too, you will find this guy and the other guy always looking forward to helping you out.
