To the Editor:
I’d like to give out a big thank you to the Creston Fire Rescue team and the staff at the Creston Valley Hospital emergency room.
Our kids, Will, Bailey and Cori, along with two women in the other car were involved in a serious car accident on Highway 3 between Salmo and Creston on Dec. 23. The fire department team did a great job getting the kids out of the wreck, stable, into ambulances and on the road to the ER. They gathered up all the personal items they saw and even rewrapped a few of the gifts that were wrecked.
The staff at the ER also put in a stellar performance. They got everybody treated to their best abilities and kept us well informed. Thanks, everyone — it was much appreciated on an awful night.
