Reflecting on my life, I came to a conclusion that there is certain way of life that will find an approval among majority of human beings.

First let me show you how world runs. It is business as usual, competition, survival of the fittest, sharks hunting their prey, corporations hijacking governments, armies conquering and enslaving, athletes fighting for medals, winner and losers, politicians lying their way to the trough, and drug dealers selling misery.

On the other hand, there is a way that leads to following: You can climb a high mountain, the strong help the weak, the wise lead, others help up anyone who slips, everybody feels for those who fail, everyone gets a medal of pure gold at the top of the mountains, and all rejoice together, no matter how long it took.

Now, dear Advance readers, think of it. Would you like to be on such a team as opposed to being on the competing team?

Take it a step further: Do you think that many would go for our team if they know it exists and had the confidence that it would end as I described it? This team is open for strong or weak, rich or poor, honest or crooked, open or paranoid, atheists or religious, jerks and pimps, prostitutes and tax collectors, old or young, big or small, uneducated or highly educated.

Seekers who long for such a team and a way of living will eventually find and join it, gaining a pure and honest heart in the process.

Those familiar with me may know already that I speak my mind, mince no words and leave baloney out. My purpose of living is to inspire, share, help and encourage. You know that I am, for lack of a better term, a biblically based (not necessarily religious) dude. I take the Bible as a book of explanation. Its principles gave me the master key to unlock the travails of my life, the struggles of my fellow time and space travellers, history, humanity, religion, wars, politics, science and everything in between.

Because of that, I can sit down with virtually anybody of willing heart and open mind, sharing, exchanging what we have found, enriching each other and remaining newfound friends despite any possible difference.

We can understand each other and still disagree. We can explore, expose wrong, explain it and seek solutions; all the while, it is the other side’s free will and choice to accept and act upon it. We will change when in error. We will seek and continue to discover till we die.

On the other hand, if someone is after trickery, backstabbing or twisting arms, neither my friends nor I have desire or time for such.

That brings me to last point of this column. So many complain they have no money or time. Let me assure you: I do have little money that carries me through. I was never rich and probably never will be. But I do have time. Big time! That’s perhaps the most precious valuable we can get hold of. I have spent most of my time, throughout my life, thinking. When you are in a whirlwind of life, you might miss it all. It is only when you stop the rat race, calm down, start thinking, evaluate what your life and what your time is worth to you, only then will you find, get hold of and appreciate true treasures.

Do not struggle alone. Turn to someone you can trust. Multiply your knowledge and time. A last bit of advice: Do not sit on it. Act.
