If you asked me in the past what bothered me the most, one of the answers would be, “The ignorance of masses, arrogance of puppet masters, servitude of politicians.”

We, the masses, were and are continuously brainwashed. Fortunately, this is easy to fix. Thanks to the Internet and independent websites, one can discover the truth and see through thick wall of lies in a few weeks or months. Regarding the arrogance of puppet masters, there is not much one can do except exposing them, thus informing unsuspecting fellow humans.

Solving those problems with workable solutions is similar to starting a fire with wet wood during the rain. In times of (relative) prosperity, most people simply do not care enough to leave their comfort zone and the few who do care are isolated and unable to move the masses.

It takes time, patience, persistence, knowledge, wisdom and sensitive timing to plant a seed, water and tend it till it sprouts and brings the harvest in due time. Unfortunately, that is usually when time of trouble comes. Even then you have to be prudent as insidious people and opportunists have bogus answers ready. A prime example was fall of 2008 when the U.S. real estate bubble did burst. Instead of locking fraudsters up for life they got trillions of taxpayers’ bailout money, which they used for CEOs’ bonuses and profit claims in the following years. Had the people been on watch, they would hear independent sites in 2007 that the U.S., U.K. and EU were pumping “money” into a rotten system. Ironically, our star, Stephen Harper, said in 2008 that “nobody saw it coming.” Well, I beg to differ.

The other closely related issue is the recent passing of the so-called anti-terrorist law(lessness) in Ottawa, which together with other pieces of legislation brings us to a verge of police state when you simply can be locked up for no good reason other than being under suspicion. Our forefathers did not fight for freedoms and liberties so that we could just give them away. Losing our freedoms and liberties is being done in small steps, usually outside the general population’s attention.

Since 9-11, I have researched number of terrorist related topics and found out that the largest terrorists are those who claim to fight it.

Remember the U.S./NATO bomb-paving road from Benghazi to Tripoli for al-Qaida terrorists? And our beloved politicos have the arrogance to ask if al-Qaida has a network in Canada?

Former U.S. ambassador Ed Peck was member of an official US commission that was working on definition of terrorism. They produced six definitions, all of which were rejected. The reason? They pointed all 10 fingers at good ol’ Uncle Sam.

Folks, these are some of the largest, grotesque tragedies unfolding in front of our eyes. As Benjamin Franklin said over 200 years ago, those who exchange essential freedoms and liberties for a little bit of security deserve neither and will lose both.

Dear Advance readers, do yourself a favour: Seek the truth about the financial system, derivatives bubble, war profiteers, fraudulent financial system, our anti-democratic (s)election system and “laws” passed by Ottawa in order to take appropriate actions when the next tsunami crisis comes. Be ready with real solutions in due time. Take courage, and be your own children’s hero.
