I can relate to the concerns that Mr. Bunn raises about the safety of compact fluorescent lights, their mercury content and safe — or should I rather say unsafe? — method of disposal.
Last time I went to the recycling drop-off in Alice Siding, I noticed something very disturbing: The bulbs were disposed of in the glass bin, which is not very good for the people who dump their glass afterwards and the worker who has to handle the contents of the bin.
I just want people — and town hall; I will bring it to their attention —to be aware of the problem.
