Carols by Creston Fire Rescue brought spirit to season

(“Creston Fire Rescue members spend evening ‘carolling’”)

What a magical night! Out of the darkness came beautiful Christmas music, lights and decorations on a parade of vehicles with people waving, driving up and down the streets. People came out of their houses to see and wave back.

I cannot thank enough those who were involved for this random act of kindness and Christmas spirit. It was obvious that a lot of work went into this and the spontaneity of it was amazing. It has been a tough year, but seeing that gave hope for a better year in 2016.

Best wishes to all those that had a part in this, and to your loved ones. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
