Wilmer David Wiebe, aka Will / Vern / Wilmy, Born March 3, 1964 in Creston BC, died of a heart attack on November 29, 2022 in Mackenzie BC. Wilmer was the 5th of 9 children of Bill and Annie Wiebe. He worked in the Logging industry for the majority of his life, mostly behind the controls of a Dozer or the Wheel of a Logging Truck.
Wilmer had 3 Children with Paulette LaLonde: Cory, Dustin and Larissa.
He lived in Creston for the most of his life and, except the last 10 years in Mackenzie BC but always called Creston his Home.
Wilmer loved the outdoors, whether it be for hunting or fishing, cutting firewood, or just going for a 'tour' up into the mountains where he would take great joy in putting a little fear into his passengers. When you found him at home, he was always puttering with something, making himself busy or cooking up some sort of concoction for supper, but if he wasn't busy, you could find him sampling some Scotch and some of 'BCs finest'.
He truly loved to stop and visit family and friends, always taking the time to make time for those whom he loved and would take anyone along with him. He supported the Creston Valley Rod and Gun Club, where he loved to shoot the breeze with anyone or the .22's at the range.
He also enjoyed reading self help books, always looking to progress and improve his current situation had 100% faith in NIKKEN (Magnetic Therapy).
He was predeceased by his oldest Brother Frank Wiebe in 2014 and his Father in 2017.
Survived by his Mother 'Granny' and Sisters Phyllis, Anita, Sharon and Marla, and his brothers Leonard, Elmer and Roger. His close cousins Arnold, Lee and Shirley.
His Children Cory, Dustin and Larissa and his Grand Children Olivia, Georgia, Henry, Adam, Caleb, Betty, Ayden, Arryk, and Thoryn.
Wilmer was a loving Son, Brother, Dad, Uncle, Papa, and Friend who will be greatly missed.
