William "Bill" Newman McFarlane passed away on February 1, 2022, at Creston, BC at the age of 69 years.
Bill was born on September 9, 1952, to parents Merle & Anne McFarlane at Gainsborough, SK. Bill's greatest passions in life were being the best Pa-Pa to his grandchildren, riding his Harley and riding his horses.
Bill is predeceased by his parents Merle & Anne McFarlane, in-laws Earl, Joyce Bradford, Harry Adcock, brothers-in-law David Bradford and Johnnie Bradford and nephew Jason Paulson.
Bill was very much loved by his wife of 49 years, Jo-Ann (nee Bradford) McFarlane, daughter Carrie-Ann Pfingsttag, her children Jason (Kaitie) Cooper, Cole, Morgan, Ty-Johnnie, the children's father Daren Pfingsttag, son Corey (Trisha) McFarlane and their children Rhys and Brooke, four siblings Sharon Bell, Donna (George) Watson, Calvin and Lawrence, sister-in-law Coral (Barry) Armstrong, brother-in-law Ed Bradford, sister-in-law Carol Moon, honourary sister-in-law Phyllis (Rick) Paulson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
At Bill's request, no funeral service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to make a memorial contribution may do so to any children's charity or to the Kootenai Community Centre Society - Safe Home, P.O. Box 237, Creston, BC V0B 1G0.
