January 17, 1928 - November 10, 2018
Bill was born in Creston, B.C. He lived most of his life in the Creston Valley other than for a stint he did in the army when he served in Korea. After returning from the war, Bill worked as a heavy duty mechanic for Junction Machinery in Creston. Upon joining the International Union of Operator Engineers, he then worked on many projects, including hydro dams and paving crews. He also worked on a contract for Kaiser Resources in Sparwood when the mine was first under construction.

Bill was raised on the family farm in Arrow Creek. He attended the Arrow Creek school and moved on to Creston Valley High School for higher education.

He enjoyed life in his youth, building model planes and going fishing. His favorite fishing spot was at Twin Bridges in West Creston, where he caught bass and sunfish. He was also an avid knitter with his knitting machine. Bill made hundreds of pairs of socks for many to enjoy.

After the passing of his dear wife Olga in 2010, Bill moved to York Creek Lodge in the Crowsnest Pass where he lived until his passing.

He will be remembered for his generosity and kindness. He was always willing to help a neighbour in need, and assisting in repairing their farm equipment.

Bill was predeceased by his wife Olga and daughter June. He is survived by his children Tatiana, Ron and Jeannie; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There will be no funeral by Bill's request.
