Willi Reinholz

June 13, 1939 ~ February 19, 2017

It is with heavy hearts the family of Willi Reinholz announces his passing at Swan Valley Lodge in Creston, February 19, 2017. Willi passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family after a long illness with Parkinson's and cancer.

Born in Neudorf, Poland on June 13, 1939, Willi moved as a teenager to Calgary, AB before finally relocating with his wife and daughters to Creston BC in 1975. Willi's passion in life was gardening, where he spent many hours growing fruits, vegetables and beautiful flowers in his yard.

Willi was predeceased by his sister, Elise, and his mother, Klara.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years Leora; daughters Sheree (Rob) of Strathmore, AB; Shelly Lynch (David) of Chestermere, AB, Shirlee of Calgary, AB, Sheila (Dave) of Airdrie, AB; a nephew (who was raised as his brother) Aberhart (Sharon) of Calgary, AB; many nieces and nephews; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and close friends.

They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run, and not be weary, and they shall walk, and not faint. Until we meet again, we love you!

Willi’s funeral was held at Erickson Covenant Church, 4017 Canyon-Lister Rd, located just east of Creston BC on February 24, 2017 at 11am.

Condolences may be forwarded through G.F Oliver Funeral Chapel at www.gfoliverfuneralchapel.com.
