Wesley Ouellette

Wesley Ouellette passed away on July 21, 2013 at the Creston Valley Hospital at the age of 72 years.
Wesley was born on September 14, 1940 to parents Miram and Alphonse Ouellette in Hanna, AB where he was raised by his grandparents. Wesley married the love of his life Rita D’Aoust on September 30, 1960 in Edmonton, AB. They moved to Cranbrook, BC in 1967 where Wesley worked as a mechanic and service manager while raising his family. In 1998 Wesley and Rita moved to Creston, BC. Thereafter, Wesley retired at the age of 60 years old, and bought their property in Lister, BC where he resided for the rest of his time with us.
Wesley is predeceased by his mother Miram Hazel Ouellette; father Alphonse Ouellette; and sister Theresa Givens.
Wesley will be remembered by his wife Rita Ouellette; daughters Joanne (Terry) Sokolic and Shannon (Rodger Johnson) Bruce; son Dayle Ouellette; grandchildren Derek Bruce, Jessica McKinnon, Brittany Bruce, Natasha McKinnon and Shelby Bruce.
A Funeral Service was held on Wednesday July 24, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Tom Kakkaniyil celebrant.
A Celebration of Wesley’s Life was held at the home of Wes and Rita following the service.
