Wesley Frank Ducharme

August 22, 1966 ~ July 15, 2010

Wesley Frank Ducharme passed away suddenly on July 15, 2010 in Cranbrook, BC at the age of 43 years.

Wes was born on August 22, 1966 in Creston, BC to parents Jean and Lloyd Ducharme. He received his education here in Creston and started driving trucks right out of high school. Wes was a heavy equipment operator, working in the forestry business, and he always worked hard. Wes went to school with his wife Louise in Creston and they were married on October 11, 1997 in Wynndel, BC.


Wes loved his kids and his family so much. Some of his other hobbies included woodworking, landscaping, camping and trains.


Wes was predeceased by his grandparents Lily and Edward Decker, grandfather Placid Joseph Ducharme, uncle Grant Ducharme, aunt Mrytle Berg and father-in-law Tom O’Rourke.


He will be dearly missed by his wife Louise; daughters Amanda and Cianna; parents Jean and Lloyd Ducharme; sister Shawnene Ducharme; brother Clint (Shawna) Ducharme and their children, Stephanie, Allan and Megan; grandmother Holly Ducharme; mother-in-law Hazel O’Rourke; brother-in-law Jim (Brenda) O’Rourke and their children Morgan, Ryan, Amy and Kai, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.


A small family gathering was held Monday July 19, 2010 at the residence of Jean and Lloyd Ducharme.
