Vera Hack

Vera Hack, aged 92, of Creston BC passed away peacefully in her sleep the morning of October 1, 2014, five weeks shy of her 93rd birthday.
Vera was born in Dafoe, SK on November 6, 1921. She took teacher's training at the Lutheran Normal School in Sask. She married Arnold Hack July 12, 1953 at College Heights, AB. Vera's life revolved around her family and her church family. Her hobbies were quilting, knitting, gardening and reading.
Vera was predeceased by her husband Arnold Hack; son Donavon Hack; sisters Elmira Cook and Emilie Rath, and brother Bill Rath.
She is survived by her children Merina (Derrick) Thompson, Elaine (Don) Schaber, Sharon (Michael) Kinch, Glen (Carol) Hack, Karon Hack, Linda (Marc) Gregory, Dale Hack, Elsa Hack; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and sisters Erna Rath and Evelyn Dawson.
A Celebration of Life Service was held Saturday October, 4, 2014 at 2:30 pm at Creston Seventh-day Adventist Church. A Private Family Interment of Ashes took place at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erickson, BC.
