March 28, 1950 ~ March 21, 2010

She was also an avid gardener and seed saver; traded/shared seeds in 23 countries, spreading seeds and the “pay it forward” attitude wherever she could. She was loud with life, her toothless grin, gleaming eye, and unpretentious all-accepting attitude made her many friends.

She will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her sons William and Andrew Brown of Manning, AB, daughter Adrieanne of Slave Lake, AB, sisters Sally Howard of Wanham, AB and Francis Turner of Dawson Creek, BC, father Norman Denson of Dawson Creek, BC, and her husband Dan McMurray of Wynndel, BC.

There will be a celebration of her life in August, 2011 in the garden she was devoted to in Wynndel.
