April 25, 1964 - March 11, 2019
On Monday, March 11, 2019 Urrie Allan Leavens passed away suddenly at his home in Creston, BC at the age of 54 years. Urrie was born in High River, AB on April 25, 1964 to parents Allan and Velma Leavens.
He is survived by his siblings: Vallee (Steve) Perry of Sparwood, BC, Moreena Leavens of Fernie, BC, Bear
Leavens of Creston, BC, and Hope (Rob) McNally of Spirit River, AB as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by both of his parents.
Urrie will always be remembered as a hard worker with a love of the "bush'' that included logging and fly fishing. He had a great love of family, and following the death of his mother, Urrie moved to Creston to be closer to his brother Bear. The two brothers shared a very tight bond, and it was this special relationship that helped Urrie through many difficult times.
He will be forever missed by those who loved him. Rest easy, Urrie. Until we meet again...
A Graveside Serice was held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Rivercrest Cemetery, Sparwood BC.
