Tiny Rauchert passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018 in Creston, B.C.€at the age of 93 years.

Tiny was born August 13, 1924 in Shoreacres, B.C. She met Emil Rauchert in January, 1945 and they were married in Revelstoke on April 14, 1945. They purchased property at 12 Mile South and lived there until the area was flooded. Tiny was very involved with the Lutheran Church in Revelstoke. Due to being the only woman to have a driver's license, she drove a lot of residents into town for shopping, Sunday school, and church services. She was a member of the Revelstoke Lutheran Women's League.

Tiny, her husband Emil and family moved to Canyon in the Creston Valley in 1964. They joined a bowling league and also played drums in "Tiny's Band" with the Branch 28 Organization. Tiny was very involved with the Lutheran Church in Creston. She was also a member of TAPS. Gardening, crocheting and sewing were some of her hobbies.

Tiny was predeceased by her mother; father; two brothers and sisters; husband Emil; constant companion Henry Neufeld; daughter; three infant sons and an infant grandson.

She is survived by her son Larry; two daughters, Rosalie and Sandra; three grandchildren and numerous great- grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 23, 2018€at 2 pm at G.F. Oliver Funeral Chapel with Pastor Harry Haberstock officiating.

Pallbearers were Larry Rauchert, Burt Olson, Jason Olson, Wesley Curry, Natasha Rauchert, and Alex Olson.

Interment was at Lister Community Cemetery.
