Thomas Edward Chalmer

On Saturday, December 8, 2012 Thomas Edward Chalmer passed away peacefully at the Rocky Mountain Village in Fernie, BC at the age of 89 years.
Tom was born in Canora, SK to parents Nick and Margaret on January 4, 1923.
Tom is lovingly survived by 7 children: Jeannie (Mario), Jim, Joanne (Glenn), Jan (Milton), John, Judi (Kevin), and Jeff (Darcy), 11 grandchildren, his brother Walter and sisters Dorothy and Helen as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Sally; brothers Peter, Steve, Harry, Paul and sister Mary.
For over 35 years Tom worked as a Mechanical Engineer in the pulp and paper industry, mostly in Quebec. In retirement with Sally, he enjoyed tending his orchard and gardens in Creston, BC. Tom will be remembered as a hard working, conscientious, kind-hearted, and generous man.
