Theresa passed away quietly on June 4, 2018.
Theresa was born and raised in Beiseker, AB. She grew up with horses and she and her husband enjoyed breeding sport horses for over 25 years. Most of Theresa's professional career was spent in Okotoks where she operated her business centre for 18 years. In 2012 Theresa and her husband Allan moved to Creston and Theresa pursued art as part of her retirement, meeting and enjoying the friendship of truly inspired artists.
Theresa is survived by her husband Allan Rogers; her sister Margaret Den Boer; her brothers Timothy Miller, David Miller and Bert Miller; her nephews Alden Stoochnoff, Dean Hagel, Brian Miller, and Allen Miller; her nieces Dawn Hagel, Lana Hagel and Donna Miller.
Theresa was predeceased by her parents Ray and Elsie Miller (Hagedorn), her nephew Bradley Stoochnoff and her oldest sister Betty Miller (Stoochnoff).
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful nurses at Home Care in Creston, particularly Janet Gourlay Prinsen; and the other medical personnel who made this 17-year battle with cancer, bearable. Thanks also to Dr Suzanne Hopkins; Dr Loren Kozak and Dr Akbar Khan at Medicor Cancer Clinic in Toronto, for truly giving cancer patients new hope.
Theresa's Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 10:00 am at Creston Ramada,1809 Highway 3A, Creston, BC.
