Terry Carlyle
1942 ~ August 19, 2016
Terry died peacefully August 19, 2016 at the age of 74 at his home in Creston BC.
Terry was born in Broadview, Saskatchewan and moved to BC when he was four years old. From a very young age he participated in a variety of outdoor and naturalist activities, including hiking, hunting, fishing and botany. He used those skills to lead young people in Junior Forest Wardens as well as Rod and Gun activities for 15 years. For over 40 years Terry participated in numerous wildlife/ecosystem enhancement projects, and his efforts were recognized with many awards and commendations.
Terry had a variety of occupations including Master Small Engine mechanics, floriculture, and forestry field work, but he was especially proud of his woodworking and fishing guide businesses.
Terry is predeceased by his five brothers and his parents.
He will be truly missed by his former wife Donna and his many nieces and nephews, who will gather to celebrate his life in a family ceremony.
