Terri Ann Tate
October 30, 1957 ~ July 9, 2011
Terri Ann Tate passed away on July 9, 2011 in Creston, BC after a long battle with cancer.
Terri was born on October 30, 1957 in Iserlohn, Germany where her father served in the Canadian Armed Forces. She came to Canada as an infant and was raised in Edmonton, Calgary, Regina and Yorkton.
Terri’s love for people lead to work as a caregiver for the handicapped and to work for Cresteramics. Terri had a very special bond with children. Her hobbies included fishing, camping, yard sales and anything to do with Christmas, her favorite time of year.
Terri was predeceased by her partner, Grant Glazier and her parents Ken and Doreen Tate.
She is survived by her son Shelby, brothers Steve (Cecile) and Randy (Sandy) plus aunts, uncles, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
Special thanks to Terri’s very special friends: Karen, Sharla, Linda, Shelley, Charles, Haley, Kena and aunt Maureen who shared Terri’s last week with her.
In keeping with Terri’s wish for people to celebrate her life more than mourn her death, a gathering for family and friends will be held Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Creston Legion Hall from 2:00 to 5:00 pm.
