Stanley John Parker
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness we announce the passing of Stanley John Parker.
Born April 1, 1959 in Mission BC and departed October 20, 2012.
Stan was very diverse in his work and people he knew. His true passions were family and being on the open road riding his Harley. He was a true nomad.
From a young age he loved to hoard models and bikes then vehicles and motorcycles, to build, drive, restore and repair.
He has now joined many family and friends and his infant son “Little John”, free to ride the never ending highway.
Stan leaves behind his mother Yvette Schroeder (Ed); sisters Marjorie and Lana (Al) Parker; special spouse Michele Craig (Devon and Hayden); daughters Bobbie-Lee (Dennis) Hamelin, Shannon and Sharmaine Parker, Leanna McConnell (Nathan); grandchildren Reegan, Kayden, Jade, Brayden, Kayleb, Brooklyn, Helena and little Ava; nieces and nephews Jason and family, Jeremy, Kayla (TJ), Wyatt (Desiree), and his dear brothers of choice Wayne, Sean and Willie.
We all will miss “Parker Time”, his laughter, love and stories of his journeys.
Our lives are richer for knowing him and he will be forever in our hearts.
A Celebration of Life was held November 3, 2012 in Kelowna.
Spreading of his ashes will be in the spring, as soon as it’s warm enough to ride!
