Stan Hoffarth passed away on November 27, 2017 at Swan Valley Lodge after a lengthy illness at the age of 90 years.

Stan was born on February 7, 1927 in Gull Lake, Saskatchewan, where he attended many of the rural schools in the area.

Stan married Caroline Fries on July 7, 1954. Together they had seven children. For most of his life Stan enjoyed farming. He always loved the big family get togethers, picnics, working with his hands, and music.

Everyone will miss his sense of humour, strength, and dedication to his family.

Stan is survived by his wife Caroline, six of his seven children, 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

A service was held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 11:00 am at G.F. Oliver Funeral Chapel, 225 15th Ave N, Creston, B.C.
