Shiv Kapoor passed away at East Kootenay Regional Hospital, Cranbrook, BC, on December 8, 2011 at the age of 77 years.
Shiv Kapoor was born in Delhi, India.
He was well-known in the Creston community for his decades of service as a teacher, friend and neighbour. He contributed to many charitable causes both near and far. When he wasn't enjoying his bridge club, he was furthering his mastery of chess. He loved Creston and honoured Canada while maintaining strong ties to his motherland of India. He remains the mental and moral compass for his entire family.
Survived by his dear wife Sadhna Kapoor; three daughters Updesh, Videsh and Sarah; and grandchildren Meghan, Anjali and Hart.
Shiv took great pleasure in feeding people. In your own way, share a meal in his memory.
